Applicant：
- Agree to divorce: The two parties of marriage.
- Judge to divorce: One of the parties of marriage.
- Interested party ( if both party of marriage don't want to apply when they are judged to divorce).
- Consignee (but only for the one who is permitted by the household registration office with appropriate reason).
Certificate documents are required (original copies)：
- Agreement of divorce, or court verdict of divorce, and confirmed verdict.
- If the applicant divorces in foreign countries, the agreement and Chinese translation copy of agreement have to be verified by the units in foreign countries. If the agreement has not translated yet, please translate it after coming back to Taiwan , then be verified by the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the courts. If the applicant wants to authorize others to complete the procedure of registration, the power of attorney is also needed to be notarized. (If the agreement of divorce is noted that “It is complied with the Behavior Law”, the registration shall be applied by single party.)
- The documents of divorce in the mainland of China (including the power of attorney, certificate of service, certificate of divorce, and valid documents of divorce) shall be verified by the Straits Exchange Foundation, and the verdict of confirmed divorce shall be judged for approval by the courts of Taiwan again.
- Household list, ID card, seal (or signature), and three copies of 2-inch photo (the photo has to be took within two months) of the parties concerned.
- If minor parties of marriage want to divorce, the divorce shall be approved and signed by the statutory agents.
